The main part is made of recycled plastic, or more precisely, post-consumer recycled polycarbonate. However, our goal is that from Q1 2023, all our new cases and replenishment, including PC, TPU and Lining, will be made of as many recycled materials as possible.

PCR stands for post-consumer recycled, i.e. materials made from recycled plastic sourced from discarded materials. Post-consumer waste represents the most significant stream, so we're constantly looking for ways to reduce it. First, the collected plastics go through sorting, cleaning, and grinding, and then the PCR granule is produced, melted, and reprocessed.

From 2023, we're significantly reducing the number of materials used in our product packaging. We have sourced a more responsible paper choice, and the PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) window, polyester ribbon and plastic blister will be removed. In addition, we're replacing the magnetic closure with a paper flap.

We’re constantly working to simplify and improve our supply chain. Here are som examples of our latest avhievements.

Freight inbound

In 2021 and 2022, we exceeded our yearly target by shipping >70% of our products from the suppliers to our central warehouses by sea.

Recycled parcel materials

To minimise waste, we've increased the recycled materials in our parcels to:

• 100% recycled, sustainable plastic bags (LD-PE)
• 50% recycled materials in our envelopes
• 43-100% recycled paper in our parcel boxes, depending on warehouse

Deliveries to customers

With most products sold via our online store, we must act responsibly, providing low-carbon deliveries and continuously improving our last-mile deliveries. Hence, we've partnered with industry-leading providers and consolidated shipments to places relatively nearby, selecting shipping modes to help minimise the negative impact on the planet.

Despite all this progress, we're fully aware that becoming the most responsible version of ourselves is a continuous journey that we'll embark on for an unforeseeable future. Yet, every choice and step counts
